European Youth Cultural Initiative

Inspiring Youth Through Culture

Connecting young people across Europe through creativity, dialogue, and shared heritage. Join a vibrant community shaping the future of European culture.

Our Story

Who We Are

The European Youth Cultural Initiative Association (EYCIA) is a non-profit organisation founded in 2017 with a simple belief: culture has the power to break down barriers and build bridges between people of all backgrounds.

Based at the heart of Europe — in Paris La Défense, France — we bring together young people, artists, educators, and cultural organisations from across the continent. Our programmes celebrate diversity, nurture creativity, and foster meaningful dialogue that transcends borders.

Our Mission

What We Stand For

Three pillars guide everything we do at EYCIA — from the festivals we organise to the workshops we run and the conversations we spark.

🌍

Cultural Exchange

We create spaces where young people from different countries can share traditions, languages, and stories — building understanding that lasts a lifetime.

🎨

Creative Programmes

From theatre productions to digital art, music residencies to writing workshops — our programmes unlock the creative potential of every participant.

European Identity

We celebrate what makes Europe extraordinary: its diversity. Our projects explore what it means to be European in the 21st century — open, plural, and forward-looking.
